Thanks in part to Chile's 4,000-mile coastline and some favorably projected swell models, the expert forecasters at Surfline.com are saying the Big Chilito is the best bet for March surf. Not only is the biggest swell energy aimed towards the Chilean coast at the moment, but if you're a goofy-foot surfer be prepared for a lefty's paradise. Almost the entire coastline is a left break, from Arica --the northernmost coastal city and host of the 2007 Rip Curl Search-- to Punta Arenas --the southernmost city on Earth.
