Mammoth Backcountry: John Muir Wilderness

With the snow pack getting up to par in the Sierra Nevadas, Film crews are starting to venture into the backcountry. I caught up with Gabe Taylor, Shayne Pospisil, and Peter Benchetler filming for Mammoth’s new video “Another Day in Paradise”. On this particular day we decided to hike from Mammoth Mountain to a zone that is in the John Muir Wilderness, where snowmobiles are not allowed, to find new lines and unriden jumps.
