As we all know, the majority of American’s are in love with deep fried food. Which is why we were relatively surprised that Japanese photographer Henry Hargreaves beat us to the punch when it came down to making a mockery of this obsession. He, with the help of food stylist Caitlin Levin, put together a series of beautifully surreal art pieces titled “Deep Fried Gadgets.”

Artist’s comment:

“With this series I guess there is a comment about consumption and the similarities with the way we are obsessed with the ‘new’ gadget. We get it, are obsessed by it and then discard it. Just like fast food!”
