This broadcast quality HD camera is likely too advanced for the amateur filmmaker, so commence your Scorsese daydreaming now.
Sony's newest pro camcorder --the Sony NEX-FS100-- features a Super 35mm Exmor sensor and can capture full 1080p at 24, 30 or 60 fps at up to 28 Mbps bit rates. This rivals the capabilities of the Canon 7D and Nikon D7000, thanks to the NEX-FS100's ability to use Sony alpha DSLR lenses, which means super sharp high-resolution motion pictures.
Additional features includes a 3.5" LCD with 1.2x viewfinder tube, XLR audio inputs and SDXC card compatibility. ($5,850-$6,550)
