Stance Films has pushed back the DVD and Blu-ray release of their newest -and outrageously anticipated- mountain bike film "Life Cycles." After spending five years shooting and producing the film, they're citing a few technical issues with packaging and disc production but claim the delay is in the viewer's best interest.
Stance Films statement: 'We have been trying to get exact dates from both our distributor and our supplier and we cannot get a nailed down date that our film will ship. Trust us when we say we are more eager than you to see the film in people's hands... When you get your film we hope that any ill-will be washed away, and you'll see that we are truly just looking out for our audience."
We concur. After the hyped, standing-ovation premiere at Interbike in late-September, the interwebs went abuzz and the Vimeo trailer currently has over 172,000 views.
Watch the trailer, below, and see for yourself why this film isn't your average bike porn.
Ingredients include a great narrative storyline, incredible riding, Red One 4K super HD, super-macro shots, time-lapse, night shooting, innovative lighting, unique camera placement, etc., etc. Featured athletes include Graham Aggasiz, Mike Hopkins, Matt Hunter, Cam McCaul, Riley McIntosh, Evan Schwartz, Brandon Semenuk, and Thomas Vanderham.
