Here’s a great tool for avoiding the shamefully emasculating experience of getting lost in the wilderness: A wristwatch loaded with Garmin GPS navigation. The Fenix will guide your adventure there and back with easy-to-operate nav capability plus ABC; alitmeter, barometer, & compass. Mark up to 1000 waypoints as you go then load your route into Garmin’s free BaseCamp trip planning software. Available August/September 2012.
