Here's a fun video segment from a crew mountain biking through Coed Llandegla Forest, North Wales. The forest covers 650 hectares and was planted in 1972 by one of the UK's primary forestry and timber harvesting groups.

There's a nicely developed trail system ranging from beginner to advanced terrain, all of which is run by local outfitter Oneplanet Adventure. They provide full equipment rentals, a workshop and Kona Test Centre in their shop, a caf located at the trailhead, and a meeting room available for private functions.
Coed Llandegla Forest is located 7 miles west of Wrexham, which is about 40 miles southwest of Manchester, UK. An easy day trip if you find yourself needing a quick, fun ride while you're tooling around the United Kingdom.
